DOES OBESITY MIRROR YOUR SPIRITUALITY?

In the above article, and its expanded version there is a lot of interesting info.
The thing that caught my interest is the fact that it caught so many other peoples interest. The comments were many times more as you can read for yourself, if you please. They go from the sensible to the non-sensical.
Now to answer the question in the title. Does obesity mirror your spirituality? Obviously, someones closness and likness to our Savior is something that only our Omniscient Father knows for sure.
However, if some of the studies referenced in this article are correct, and I believe they are, obesity could be and indicator of how close to or far from the Lord, or like or unlike Him we are.
Ruling out several things that can contribute to obesity from a physcial condition, if someone is obese because of not doing as Paul states in; 1 Cor 9:27 "But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, after I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway." I would say that they need to look in the mirror and ask themselves this very question.
