CHRISTIAN COALITION'S MONEY TROUBLE
http://www.sermonaudio.com/new_details.asp?ID=21393
I know that there are differing opinions among conservative Christians about the C. C.
It is not my purpose to question the legitimacy of the C. C.; however, it is my purpose
to point a very important matter.
It is my opinion that if the Church of Jesus Christ was being the force in our culture that
it should be, para church organization such as the C. C. would not be necessary.
Just what do I mean? What I mean is that if we (the Church) would stick to our biblical mandate (Mat 28:19 & 20; Mk 16:15) to preach the Gospel and make disciples we would have a far more powerful impact on society that these types of organization.
Oh, could it be said of us; "...these that have turned the world upside down are come hither also;..." (Acts 17:6)
Well, that's the way it looks from here,

MOST AMERICANS DON'T BELIEVE THEY WILL BE RESURRECTED FROM THE DEAD IN A BODY
http://www.sermonaudio.com/new_details.asp?ID=21368
The above article speaks of this topic.
Obviously these folks have the freedom to believe that their bodies won't be
resurrected from the dead. Of course, that doesn't change the fact that the Scriptures
declare that they will.
John 5:28; "Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation."
It is clear that these verses speak of two distinct resurrections of the dead.
One for those that have received the righteousness of Christ and thus are doing good, and
those that have not Christ and thus are doing evil. The good are raised to life everlasting and the evil to damnation.

More ???????????about Jesus
http://www.sermonaudio.com/new_details.asp?ID=21362
We have the De Vinci Code, the Jesus Papers, the gospel of Judas, and now this guy suggesting that Jesus may have
walked on ice instead of the liquid form.
I know that some of this stuff is just warmed over sixties stuff, but I think that it does show
the anti-Jesus mind set among so many. Writing something about Jesus that questions His death, burial, and resurrection, or even His human existence is really popular and profitable.
I heard the author of the Jesus Papers in an interview make the blasphemous statement that Jesus said He was not God.
Yes, there is just something about that name. I Peter 2:7& 8, says it best: "Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone with the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, 8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense,..."
I believe that as never before it is vital to stand upon the truth of the Holy Scriptures.
